The ingredient of Nepalese Tempeh Choila
- 8 ounces tempeh cut into 1 2 inch cubes
- 1 red onion medium or 2 shallots minced
- 2 medium tomatoes finely diced
- 4 scallions or spring onions trimmed green and white parts finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 2 inch ginger piece of peeled and finely julienned
- 2 cloves garlic crushed and chopped
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves fresh finely chopped
- 1 2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil mustard oil is traditional but use any other if you dont have this
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds methi
- 1 2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 lemon
